Meet Our Team

Meet Our General Manager, Richard. Born and raised in Scotland, Richard moved to Winnipeg in 1995 after completing a Science Degree in Quantity Surveying (Construction Cost Consulting). Soon after arriving, he managed a boat and snowmobile dealership in east Winnipeg. Two years later, he joined the Murrays as Financial Services Manager at Dan Murray Chevrolet Oldsmobile in Oak Bluff. In 1999, Richard moved to the then brand-new Murray Chevrolet at Waverley Automall, where he spent 17 years before becoming General Manager at Murray Hyundai in 2016.

When not at the dealership, Richard enjoys spending time with his daughters, Zoe and Catriona, and is an avid cyclist—regularly riding further than he drives.
